Gear diary

Two small boxes arrived from Adorama. One with Ricoh GXR Mount module and another with Voigtlander Nokton 40/1.4 classic. What a lovely combo this is. I am yet to fully master the manual focusing with the aids provided by the module, but suffices it to say - I can hit the target at wide apertures, though not always. Evidently, a practice is necessary.

In terms of convenience and ease of use - this combo is second to none. Matrix metering is very accurate. The colors and the tones of the module are lovely. It is light, it is small and the image quality is excellent.
