K-7 out, K-5 in

Just a brief note here. Galia's K-7 has been retired. I bought another K-5 with Canon ee-S focusing screen properly shimmed so that now my all time favorite lens SMCP A 50/1.2 is fully back in action again. Galia gets K-5 and the K-7 will be offered for sale.

Brief note on Nikon D800

It seems that Nikon D800 not only packs the whole lot of pixels, but it would appear that these pixels are at least as good as those of Pentax K-5. So it finally happened - the advancement of FF sensors caught up with sensors for APS-C cameras. Thumbs up to Nikon - this is really great news for everyone!
